The following resource materials were identified as most helpful to health center executives who are considering accreditation and/or striving for continuous readiness. They were identified as part of a JCAHO readiness project (2004-2006) for community health centers. The project was funded with support from the United Hospital Fund.
The Bureau of Primary Health Care encourages JCAHO accreditation. For more information about the JCAHO accreditation process for health centers and for helpful tools and information, please visit www.jointcommission.org/Accreditationprograms/Ambulatorycare.
