Alexandra Cohen is the Vice President of Data and Technology at CHCANYS. Before beginning work at CHCANYS she was most recently the Principal at HIJ Health where she served as a strategic consultant for healthcare organizations, providing guidance on technology services, innovation, data design and implementation strategy. Prior to HIJ Health she spent seven years at the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) in a variety of roles. At NYeC she was most recently the Senior Vice President, Statewide Services and Innovation where she was responsible for leading the development of innovation strategy for New York State’s public health information exchange, managing NYeC’s relationship with respect to technology with the NYS Department of Health and development of a performance based contracting methodology. In addition to these responsibilities she managed the product and project management teams for all NYeC product lines and established the NYeC Data Services team.
Before joining NYeC, she spent time working to transform primary care with Qliance Medical Management. She has spent time at Microsoft and Risk Management Solutions working on data-driven software and solutions across various industries.
Alexandra has a BA in Mathematics from Columbia University, a MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and a MPA in Health Policy from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU.
