Susan Kristie

Susan Kristie
Director of Development

Susan joined CHCANYS in May 2015 as the Director of Development. In this role, Susan is responsible for fundraising and building donor relationships in support of the CHCANYS mission. Among other responsibilities she is overseeing the CHCANYS Family Day at the Races event, and will be managing the many aspects of the organization’s annual conference.

Susan has over 15 years of fundraising and development experience in the nonprofit sector including event planning, event management, and donor cultivation. Prior to joining CHCANYS Susan has most recently worked with the Boys Scouts of America and the Jeffrey T. Latman Foundation. She also taught kindergarten for many years in Weston, Connecticut.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Maryland-College Park, as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Education from Fairfield University.
