New York State One House Budgets Released

The Senate and Assembly released their one house budget bills outlining their priorities as the State works to finalize its budget before April 1st. Thanks to your advocacy, we’re thrilled to share that CHCANYS top advocacy priorities of Rate Reform, enhanced MCO tax investments, and a telehealth payment fix were included in at least one of the one house bills.  For CHCANYS’ full working summary of the one house and executive budget bills, please click here. CHCANYS Top Priorities: 

  • CHC Rate Reform: Included with language from S.4589 (Rivera) in Senate Budget
  • MCO Tax Investment:
    • Senate One House: $100M for Medicaid rate increases to FQHCs and Diagnostic and Treatment Centers
    • Assembly One House: $70M for Medicaid rate increases to FQHCs and Diagnostic and Treatment Centers
  • Telehealth Payment Fix: Included with language from S.3359 (Rivera) in Senate Budget
