In this session, participants will ground in shared language to ensure an understanding of key terms related to health equity. Facilitators will take participants through a historical journey that explores key moments in our history that left legacies seen today through health disparities and inequities. 

Objectives: 

  • Participants will understand key terms related to racial and health equity. 
  • Participants will explore the legacy of key historical moments within the United States and New York.
