The 2024 Uniform Data System (UDS) Manual is now available. It provides detailed reporting instructions and example data tables that support calendar year (CY) 2024 reporting. Changes as outlined in the 2024 UDS Program Assistance Letter (PDF) include:
Updates to UDS clinical quality measure specifications to align with current CMS electronic-specified clinical quality measures (eCQMs)
Reporting the number of health center patients screened for family planning needs, including contraceptive methods
The manual also includes information about UDS de-identified patient-level submission (UDS+) in Appendix G. For CY 2024 UDS reporting (in 2025) HRSA will require a minimum submission for UDS+ (learn more on the UDS Moderization Initiative webpage). HRSA will share additional details and guidance in late summer.
