The Build Back Better Act, also known as the Social Infrastructure bill, has been reduced from $3.5T to $1.75T. The latest version, released on November 3rd, includes $2 billion for health center capital, $3.37 billion for Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education, $2 billion for National Health Service Corps and $500 million for Nurse Corps. Additionally, drug pricing provisions, such as Medicare negotiation for a limited set of drugs in Parts B and D and inflationary rebates, were included. The bill continues to be subject to change.
