To raise awareness about the role of CHCANYS and its member health centers in addressing health disparities, CHCANYS is back for a second year with a billboard display on Broadway.
The billboard display appeared National Nonprofit Day August 17th on the Nasdaq Board located in the heart of Times Square from 5–8PM during a high traffic commuter period.
Of the billboard, CHCANYS CEO Rose Duhan says: "CHCANYS’ vision is that every New York State community has primary care that encompasses all aspects of each patient’s health and well-being. Community Health Centers achieve that vision every day, providing comprehensive, culturally competent, high quality, primary and preventive care to anyone who walks through their doors. We believe that health care is a right, not a privilege, and by supporting CHCANYS, you help ensure people in every part of New York State have access to the care they need to be healthy and live well, regardless of immigration status, insurance coverage, or ability to pay."
