The New York State Legislature has released their budget bills over the weekend. The State Assembly, Senate, and Governor’s office will use these as a starting point for budget negotiations ahead of the passage of the final budget. Here are some key takeaways from the one house budgets regarding CHCANYS' top priorities: The Senate one house budget provides full telehealth payment parity and expanded provider list whereas the Assembly did not include any telehealth reforms in their one house budget; none of the budgets included a repeal of the pharmacy carve out (slated to take effect April 1, 2023); and none of the budgets included a $7M Rate Equity Pool for select health centers.
