On Sunday, August 12, 2024, CHCANYS Navigators Leticia Otis and Leah Alfieri tabled at the NYSOH sponsored Asian Food and Culture Fest that took place at Canalside in Buffalo, NY. It was a great day filled with delicious food, smiling faces, and wonderful performances featuring dancers from various studios around WNY. They had a prime location directly to the right of the stage, so they had tons of foot traffic stopping at the NYS Marketplace table. This was a great opportunity to explain exactly what the Marketplace offers and how we, as navigators, assist individuals in the community with renewals, enrollment, questions, etc.
Events like this allow us to show others what we do and how we can help people make the health insurance process a much smoother process.
Leah and Leticia also tabled at the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Fest sponsored by NYSOH Saturday, August 17 in Buffalo, NY.
