The Pediatrician position is based at the Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, a state-of-the-art Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and NCQA-accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home in East Harlem offering comprehensive pediatric and adult primary care, specialty care, and the Boriken Pharmacy. The Pediatrics Department serves a supervisory role to the Boriken School Health Program’s three sites. Provides telephone coverage, based on the Health Center’s on-call schedule.

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive, culturally competent primary care services in an ambulatory care setting. Contribute to quality improvement, supervision of Advanced Practice Practitioners, after-hours call coverage, and other programmatic and clinical functions.

Qualifications: Graduate of approved medical school Completion of approved residency Board Certified or Board Eligible required New York State Medical License DEA registration Bilingual Spanish preferred Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of principles and practices of Pediatric Medicine Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct comprehensive treatment plans Expressed commitment to work in partnership with colleagues and to guide staff to deliver a high quality of care to health center patients. COVID vaccine required. Must have Active NYS Medicaid/Medicare Provider #.

Schedule: Full time (35 hours per week)

Compensation: Competitive salary, dependent on years of experience, 192-212K per year
