Join us for a comprehensive webinar about statin prescribing best practices with Dr. Natalie Levy, including a special focus on the role of CHC-based clinical pharmacists. Dr. Levy will deliver a 60-minute presentation, and all providers are welcome to attend this session to learn about how they can optimize their diverse care teams. The remaining 30-minutes will be dedicated to highlighting the unique role of clinical pharmacists in supporting high blood cholesterol management, and we highly encourage clinical pharmacists to engage in this panel discussion with our guest speaker(s). 


The session will address the following objectives: 



  • Patient challenges and barriers to statin therapy.  


  • The landscape of statin intolerance among CHC patient populations.  


  • SDOH factors affecting statin therapy treatment and/or adherence.  


  • Alternatives and related barriers or facilitators to statins (i.e., PCSK9 inhibitors, bempedoic acid, oral vs. injectable options).  

  • The role of community pharmacists in supporting FQHCs in cholesterol management alongside primary care providers.
