Telehealth and Substance Use Disorders Care II: Considering Health Equity Recording
Peer learning session on Telehealth and Substance Use Disorders Care. Presenters will speak to their experiences facilitating care for patients with SUDs, and lessons learned from implementing telehealth modalities to strengthen patient engagement, expand access to services and promote retention in care. Promising practices and treatment interventions will be explored, including current strategies for addressing health disparities experienced by marginalized patients. Participants will learn how providers have adapted telehealth flexibilities and clinical workflows to improve service delivery, as well as learn how interventions focused on improving health equity can help to identify communities with urgent treatment needs.
