Location: Dunkirk, NY
Responsibilities:
- Staff Leadership: Lead, supervise, and guide behavioral health staff to maintain an efficient and cohesive team.
- Provide mentorship to enhance staff performance and growth.
- Additional tasks as the position develops
Oversight:
- Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of behavioral health programs, ensuring they meet clinical standards and deliver quality care.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, chart signing, and patient satisfaction, utilizing data to drive improvements and optimize services.
- Collaborate with the Quality Improvement team to implement strategies for continuous enhancement of care delivery.
- Patient-Centered Care: Foster a patient-centered approach, ensuring that services are provided with sensitivity to individual needs and considerations.
- Ensures patient and staff safety
- Facilitates effective communication and coordination among other departments
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work-LCSW Required
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
- In-depth knowledge of behavioral health regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proven experience in program development, strategic planning, and performance improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and build relationships.
- Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team effectively.
- Familiarity with information privacy laws and regulations in the context of healthcare.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financial resources.
- Proficiency in using technology and software relevant to clinic operations.
- Experience with EHR systems
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office
